#I don't know what the non dressed model looks like#I can only afford what are most likely recasts#I feel bad about it but like#I will never be of the economic class to afford legit bjds y'know#Even if I have a job and ssd#Maybe when I get ssd and I have enough money left over that I HAVE to spend so they don't dock my income#But definitely wouldn't be able to afford something over 400 bucks#And a lot of the legit bjds I wanna collect are over that#Because I like 1/4 and 1/3 dolls specifically#People don't often bring up how bjd collecting is a hobby that is definitely rooted in classism#And how alot of people are barred from the hobby because of their economic status#A lot of people jump to a black and white stance on recasts with no nuance#And yeah I could just not get a doll because it's a non essential item but yknow#They make me happy#And I don't really wanna be a part of the bjd community to begin with because of how much drama is in it#I really don't care that I'm excluded from the club because I have bigger issues going on
