The poet they probably shouldn’t have sent. I watch anime and am sometimes accused of reading books. I'm writing a long gay giant robot story in verse—probably this millennium's best yuri mecha epic poem, through lack of competition.

Good question! Unfortunately, I'm not well-placed to answer, as I've not read unabridged editions of the novel.
It's a story with a lot of vision and a ye Olde English style that was so not helped by reading it in one column on my phone.
