The poet they probably shouldn’t have sent. I watch anime and am sometimes accused of reading books. I'm writing a long gay giant robot story in verse—probably this millennium's best yuri mecha epic poem, through lack of competition.

Cohost build club, launching!

Hello! After drumming up a bit of interest we're off to a totally sure start and we're ready to go.

On that note! Our theme for this very first sortie is:

行きます

We're ready to launch so I wanna see first mobile suits. Bring out your Aerials, Exias, and Grandpas, we're leading with any protagonist's first mecha.

  • Any grade and any scale is welcome.
  • You're encouraged to try something new! Part of the idea is to challenge yourself to try new techniques or go more in-depth than you're used to.
  • Non-Gundam kits are allowed!
  • Anyone is welcome to participate! Yes that includes you!

I cannot speak highly enough of International Model Toys in Seattle for those of you who are out in this area. Drop recommendations for shops near you in the comments!

Deadline is November 30. I strongly encourage sharing WIP pics and any thoughts/journaling you do along the way.

At the beginning of December I'll post a survey and gather whatever data I can from y'all who participate. I wanna open up future challenge themes to community suggestions so we'll need a system for doing that too.
