The poet they probably shouldn’t have sent. I watch anime and am sometimes accused of reading books. I'm writing a long gay giant robot story in verse—probably this millennium's best yuri mecha epic poem, through lack of competition.

Despite fifteen years following Gundam, I’m pretty new to gunpla; this is my first MG.

I chose the Unicorn because

  1. I like the Unicorn but I don’t like it so much that I’d feel bad if I wrecked the kit.
  2. Its decadent design, firmly from the designed-for-gunpla era, differs from the kits I’d built before.

I haven’t attempted an especially try-hard build process, and I’m still pretty pleased with the results so far.

Still need to build the weapons and then, with fear and trembling, approach the decals.
