ryogho narita is such a life affirming author. when your break out success has a core element speaking on the joys of immortality in the form of 2 dumbasses that don't even realize they are and never get bored of living, it's easy to presume that would be the case, but i do feel like it bears mentioning. anyway, the Baccano! ovas are necessary viewing, but i do recommend gapping watching the show and them, because they're an epilogue that kind of spells out the conclusions. delightful character work, but still. left me smilin'.
