Basically, my question is this;
EDH is great with 3+ players but is uhhh, "interesting" with only 2. Most 60 card constructed formats work well with 2 players but are not as good with 3+.
With the expectation of the number of players varying from 2-4 at complete random, what format works for any number of players equally well?
Probably something like Battle Box
The shared deck makes for some interesting decisions with scrying and milling. It tends to favor midrange goodstuff because of the nature of the format which is already better for multiplayer.
Also importantly, it doesn't require that everyone has a deck. Multiplayer can struggle if there is a power imbalance and Battle Box is random and centralized in power.
