I had them in my apartment during the Summer months, especially. Just talking about them gives me the jeepers. Not sure if they were better or worse than the blue moon scorpions I have now, back with my mom and aunt. All I know is they must burn~
I'm a fan of invertebrates but I freaking hate finding cockroaches at home, I find them repulsive (would probably be OK with pet cockroaches, they probably are free of disease from sewer and trash and stuff).
I wouldn't be as kind as you was, but thanks for sharing, seeing bugs molting is always really cool
Madagascar hissing cockroaches are actually great insect pets! Low maintenance, big and docile, no wings, don't mind humans handling them. While I do find domestick cockroaches repulsive, I find the hissing cockroaches pretty cute!
