So my wife is from Mexico
And we're watching Great British Bake Off Mexican week episode
She is laughing at these ignorant British contestants, the way they pronounce "pico de gallo" and peel avocados like a potato (seriously I agree that's fuckin weird)
Because she is from the south (CDMX, in fact, go figure) she is not offended by the taco challenge and is more upset at all the Americans offended by it given what most Americans make their tacos with -- hard shells? Salad? Cold shredded cheese? Wrapped into a burrito stuffed into a pizza????
Weird things: tacos aren't really what either of us would call "baked", and why couldn't they get the contestants a tortilla press?
Other semi-relayed thoughts: those seltzers they sell at target pair well with vodka. We would at least eat the example tacos
