One of those garage kits you can tell was made by a small-scale amateur sculptor--it's small (~1/12 scale), the cast itself was rather wonky, and it's not as sharp and refined a sculpt as you'd find from a pro. But it sure is charming, and I just really wanted to paint a lil' Nei, y'know?
The front bangs had some big issues, including a large chunk of them on the right side being practically nonexistent due to a sizable air bubble that got in during the casting process. I had to resculpt the missing/unstable bits with epoxy, and looking at them now, I kinda wish I'd added a bit more depth to the right side--it's a bit flat. Oh well. Her nose was a little flat, too, so I did some extra very precise UV putty work to give it more definition.
The kit also came with a bow for her backside but I didn't really like how it looked. I suppose I could've put a magnet in it to take on and off. I still could, actually, but I think I'll move on. I'm satisfied with her as-is.
