Tried downloading SmartThings on my PC and it would appear that the only thing it can do is turn a TV off. It can't even turn it back on, from what I can tell, because once it's off, it's offline, and unresponsive. Maybe if it was with wired ethernet it could be turned back on? But the modem is in the other room so it would be unreasonable to even try, I'd say.
Just feels like a waste of time to have even bothered, if I can't use it to even turn it on or change the input. Then I could connect a webconferencing app on my home computer with my laptop, and then the cats can see and hear me.
