There are more people saying hogwash... but is the average person saying hogwash more? I actually overlaid this with the world population graph and studies say yes, though I can't tell if this is simply due to a greater proportion of the world speaking english or if it is truly a hogwash renaissance.
the real question, is the rise of people saying hogwash actually just correlated with the amount of actual hogwash
How does anyone, upon turning on the news, not come to the immediate conclusion that the world is just at maximal amounts of hogwash
The original graph is already measured in frequency per million so I think it's relative to the total word output referenced by ngrams
