Per the tags in the above response, I want to say that I believe that Nancy would absolutely become a youkai specifically because she could come up with a gag for it. My thought is that it would be something involving the generation of infinite candy that she'd use both to eat and to shoot as danmaku in her attacks, though I've not sorted out any details in that regard.
