So we're going to finally publicly release some details about the next @BPGames VN project soon (hopefully), and in concert with that I'd like to do some more focused audience-building stuff - to whit, starting a BP Games Discord server and a regular BP Games development newsletter. I'd love to hear from others about their experiences setting up Discord servers and newsletters (I recall there being a thread from a few months back about good newsletter options that I can't seem to find at the moment). Guides and advice also very much appreciated! Thanks!!

So, as someone who is technically the community manager for several teams, I actually recommend against making a server unless you know you have a group of friends who will make that their "home" server to keep activity consistent, otherwise a dead/slow server that serves as a casual newsletter can be embarrassing/demotivating for you and the team.

As for newsletters, let me dig that up for you
