Feature suggestion for every website: a "like" function that lets you select exactly what parts of a post you are(n't) endorsing. :)

if the function allows us to select the subtext, too, then i'd be able to select that it's the irony of a post that i'm endorsing with my like, and not the post as explicitly written

In practical terms, wasn't this twitter with the short character limits that split single posts into long threads?
