This was a big freaking game, too, since City and Liverpool's clash was between two of the three teams (with Arsenal) in running to win the league -- though with Liverpool having drawn against Manchester United and then losing to Crystal Palace, the general consensus is that while Arsenal's win just now over Wolverhampton has put them top of the table, Manchester City has a game in hand and their remaining matchups should all be easy wins for them, and so should have no trouble closing out the season.
