I think this is slightly funnier than that time that the onion used the galactic empire from star wars as allegory for America's relationship to the middle east in an article that is frustrating me profoundly because I can't for the life of me find it any more

I was braced for the usual DND horror stories involving creepy behavior and weird ass toxicity, this is next level.

A good reason to DM, to make sure there are better options out there than people who set up bullshit campaigns like that.
honestly kind of impressive (telling, really) that this guy constructed a fictionalized version of the entire scenario from scratch, with full authorship over the backstory and worldbuilding, specifically motivated to promote his views, presented to an audience of friends who weren't aware it was a political allegory, and he still couldn't make his Israel stand-in look like the good guys
This is what I'm SAYING. utterly incredible. i would pay money to read the DM's worldbuilding notes.
