semirelevant to the previous post but tangential enough that I didn't include it is that apparently caroline calloway is really into "dark academia" which explains so much of her obsession with cambridge. I would describe "dark academia", in its most socially-palatable form, as people wanting to fuck a non-infringing version of professor snape from harry potter
