Look I get that everyone has their own personal conceptualization of Bubsy but any reinterpretation of the character, IMO, should primarily focus on his story of being a character actor who has since moved on from his major role not to emotional destitution a la Bojack Horseman but has simply stepped back from the more grueling, emotionally destructive aspects of his career to spend more time with his family living a life as normal as someone whose trajectory matches his could hope to achieve
