playing 30 minutes of the Tsukihime Remake just reminds me that like, yeah, Type-Moon stuff has been taken over by spinoffs and other cruft, overgrown into a tangled sargasso that has mired the international pop culture scene in terrible ways we're nowhere near breaking free from, BUT those original core works are still pretty solid

more like soaking up nitrogen runoff from content farms, thus fate grows more effectively in the water than other forms of seaweed and chokes out any other similar life. it is not necessarily a good thing.

I realize this is an overly-specific metaphor but these are the sorts of thoughts I have at the end of the day, like shower thoughts but less coherent.
