a handy dandy breakdown of the various links in my header/sidebar, and what i've got going on where

Neocities - think of it like my homepage to the internet! where most people have a carrd or a linktree, i use neocities, where i not only host links to the various social media I use for fannish purposes, but also talk about myself, explore basic coding, and share some of my favorite playlists (among other things i haven't gotten around to integrating yet)

Archive of Our Own - there, i've said it: I write fanfiction. I'm by no means consistent and it's held to the whims of my hyperfixations, so I hop from fandom to fandom, often leaving wips unfinished in the process, but if you want to check my stuff out, feel free! Some of it's pretty good, if I do say so myself

Tumblr - you know it, you love hate love it, it's the hotel california ass website we were all cursed to walk upon a decade hence (or six years, in my case-- god, has it really only been six years?). will we ever escape? will any other website truly replicate it? who's to say, but if you care to follow me there, feel free

Dreamwidth - used sparingly across 2022 and 2023, this is mostly home to some poetry I wrote during that time. If I have the spoons to write poetry again, I'll likely share it there. Please, god, let me have the spoons to write again, be it poetry or otherwise.

Mastodon - now, see here, i was never on twitter, but when mastodon got big, i thought the fediverse was really cool sounding so i hopped on and then proceeded to forget it existed after like, two months. just hopped back on, hopefully i remember it exists this time, we shall see!

hello hello now that I have been freed from the new account waiting period I suppose it is time that I introduce myself to people here so that I can actually,,, find people to follow and make my feed look a little less sad

hi!

My name's Jenn. If you couldn't tell from my funky little bio up there, I mostly use she/her and xe/xir pronouns, but I also fuck with some other neopronouns like ze/zir and ze/hir.
I'm disabled, so my hobbies are absolutely abysmal right now, but I spend most of my time playing ttrpgs (my current games are Pathfinder and Candela Obscura), playing Baldur's Gate 3, and trying to get back into reading and crafting when I have the spoons.

I'm hopping over from Tumblr given the current clusterfuck of transphobia and AI bullshit, although I'll probably still be posting there because I've been there long enough that it's ingrained in my bones, but hopefully I'll find a nice little community over here as well and gradually make my way over and be a little less dependent on the ol Hellsite

The more I think about Cohost going down, the sadder I get
It's easily one of the most comfortable social medias I've ever been on and it really encapsulates what it is I like about other places on the Internet
I've got accounts on Tumblr and Mastodon still, but neither of them are the same as Cohost
I'll miss you, eggbug
