COMMISSIONS CLOSED (for now)

Honestly just excited to be here. I'm a Hispanic, bi, non-binary, self-taught artist, burlesque dancer, and witch. I can't really list any favorite things because ND object impermanence. But I do enjoy talking to people and taking commissions when I have the energy, so drop me a line!

I 100% get this, and it's not that there's anything wrong with the other rep but sometimes it's nice as a queer person to imagine a completely uneventful life. Where being queer doesn't HAVE to be a big deal, where life goes on, where things are just calm for a while and there's no real urgency to everything we do. It's not about conforming to any standard or "trying to please the straights", it's about queer people coming from all different places and motivations and lives and just because someone doesn't wear it all on the outside doesn't mean they're any less proud of who they are, it just mean they have a style that works for them.

And to be clear, I say this as someone with a sideshave and a dramatic wardrobe and who wants to completely cover one arm in tattoos. There's a difference in what Casey's talking about here and the people who don't want queer to be loud at all.

Honestly I feel the same. I want to eventually have a world where we're all safe to be queer and boring. Personally I think that's the end goal for most of us; A world where those who want to be wild and those who want to be boring can do either safely.

And no shame to our outrageous brothers, sisters, and enbies. Hell, I absolutely love seeing them repping their true selves in spite of the hate.

I feel you. Ultimately proper representation is well... representative, not just picking out either extreme to exemplify. There's got to be room for everyone at the end of the day, for some people that means being extra as hell, for some that means being, all things considered, pretty plain about it. Whatever works.
