Wow I love video games!

I know this is something a lot of people say, but I think about it a lot. Yeah there's some stuff that ain't funky fresh, but I genuinely love video games and I like play them. I love to sit down and immerse myself in a fun little video game setting and just press my funny little buttons.

Admittedly I have much more time available to me than the average person, but I like to play lots of different games! It has come to the point where some of my friends even come to me to ask for game recommendations! I love video games! Yippee! Video games!

tbh videogames as a medium are fantastic, it's a level of interactivity you can't really get without a live performance otherwise

I think this is why I like maintaining large emulation libraries, cos it can be fun to jump around between games super breifly just for fun little bursts of experiences

Snes is great for this especially jp exclusive games

Heck yeah! I've been playing emulated stuff on my Steam Deck a lot lately myself. In particular though I wanna start going through my PS1 games. There's a charm that can't be properly replicated I feel with PS1 and PS2 games in particular.

And through the efforts of fan translators, we even have access to quite a few games that didn't get various language releases too. Yippee!

I do think sometimes there are reasons to be upset, but there are a lot of gamers who seem to love to hate way too much. I love using games as a stress relief tool. Bejeweled 2 Deluxe in particular as of late has been that game!

Oh god yeah the industry is mega hecked honestly. There's tons of fun little experiences to be had though still, and I believe in a future that one day things will get better. For now though yeah, mega hecked.
