Day 4 - Music from a console exclusive series
I'm still not sure if "console exclusive" means "this game was never on the PC or handheld" or "this game or series is exclusive to one company's console". So I opted for both!
3D Dot Game Heroes was the first From Software game I ever played. To this day, when I hear From is putting out a new game, my first thought is "oh, the 3D Dot Game Heroes guys!". My second thought is "I hope it's a port of 3D Dot Game Heroes!". It never is.
Anyway, 3DDGH had a very cool voxel look and allowed you to customize what your hero looked like. This led to an infinite amount of Links, Lotos, FF1 characters, and so on. There was also a way to share and download other people's heroes but the method escapes me.
I remember spending some time futzing around in the hero editor, but I never made anything substantial. Still, it was a very neat little part of the game.
