Day 29 - Final boss music
NOTE TO SELF: If you're doing one of these daily challenges, maybe don't do it in December, when the end of that month gets particularly busy?
Part of the reason this particular entry is so late is that I couldn't think of any particularly interesting final boss music. That's not to say that there isn't any good final boss music out there... I couldn't think of any because I often don't make it to the final boss of a game! I have a terrible habit of dropping games (even games I like) midway through and moving onto something else. I'm slowly kicking the habit, but until then there's a whole world of cool unheard final boss music out there for me.
But enough about that, let's talk about the first game I ever completely 100%'d: Kirby 64. I ate this game up with a dang spoon. I originally started trying to collect all the little trading cards in the game and had no real interest in getting every single crystal shard, but one thing lead to another and I got 'em all. I didn't know anyone else playing the game at the time and my internet access was fairly limited in 2000, so imagine my shock when all my collecting was rewarded with a... one-eyed blob angel? Years later I would go back to Kirby's Dreamland 3 and realize that freaky-deaky final bosses are pretty par for the course in Kirby games.
