I'm in a retro games Discord and someone mentioned that copies of Twin Snakes developed an odd cracked and veiny look over time. I went over to my shelf and sure enough, my disc 1 of Twin Snakes is starting to look strange. I don't have a Gamecube or Wii hooked up at the moment so I'm not entirely sure how it plays. I've heard from others that their copies play fine, it's just the top film of the label that's messed up.
I'd be kind of sad if the game was rendered unplayable, but also it's not really a game I'm champing at the bit to replay. I went through a handful of other Gamecube games, their labels all look fine. I wonder what caused it.
