If forced to use 16*9 I'm a big fan of 640x360 or 320X180 type resolutions. Go smaller stretch it further (and cleaner on most modern screens) imo. Videogames will always be a tapestry of tiny squares lets make the squares bigger and stop pretending :3

Thank you for this post; I was wrestling with resolutions for a while which sometimes just happens to me in my multimonitor setup so I thought it was me. I shall trust fall backwards into 1024x768.

I'll try 4k and if god's got a problem with that, he can come out of the screen and tell me in person
