Some general questions:

Why does mind control turn up so much in the games? Do you find it a particularly effective horror trope?

Looking back on the series, is there anything you'd do differently?

How much of the series did you have an idea of when you made the first game? Where there any areas where the series ended up diverging significantly from your original ideas?

And some specific dev-related questions because I'm working on a fangame:

What are the speed values of BB and the camera's movement?

Why are the sprites in the first game coloured in a style where the colours go outside the lines, whereas from the second game onwards the sprites are clearly coloured with the fill tool?

What was your workflow for creating textures and 3d objects?

LIGHTNING ROUND - - it's creepy to me but also convenient for horror games where the main character can never actually die - - i wouldn't do anything different bc the process of making the games and figuring out what i wanted to do was the goal, rather than any quality of the end result - - i had some rough ideas at first but by Eyes Of The Killer i had a sense of how the final game should go (intended as a parody of Resident Evil 2 with action moving from the streets to the police station to the horrible bio labyrinths beneath) and most of the premises i'd keep pulling from - - i think BB is a 7 in move speed but i reduced or sped it up for small vs large areas - - the loose colouring is something I liked doing for Magic Wand but didn't feel like it added much after trying it here - - i don't really have a workflow but the 3d parts were either probuilder or wings 3d - - good luck with the fangame!!

i tried to be pretty mild about it but it sometimes increments a little in large areas where you're meant to be zipping around and slows down in small ones to make it easier not to just walk straight offscreen
