tf trope that gives me life: when a supposed "human" runs into a creature who not only sniffs out their true nature, but straight up can't even see them as a human / doesn't realize that they don't yet know what they are.
"What are you doing running around in the woods in a human disguise, anyway? There's no-one around, you can take off that stuffy shape, cousin."
