Like, for example, do they walk everywhere? Do they fly? What kind of bike do they ride? What's their usual driving route to work? What does their wheelchair look like? Do they have a preferred type of metro rolling stock for their daily commute? What kind of teleportation spell do they use?

For most shorter trips, I just fly. I am equipped with hard light generators that expand the surface area of my wings and tail such that I'm able to achieve liftoff by flapping. I have a top horizontal speed of approximately 100 km/h (though in a dive I can just about double that) and my batteries can sustain roughly 3 hours of hard light generation between charges. For longer journeys (or any other factors that prevent flight like poor weather, fatigue, etc) the near universal availability of robust, frequent, and reliable public transit in the year 2X24 is generally good enough to get me around, and I can generally walk the remaining distances. By the 2X00s, having a car is somewhat like having a horse in 2024. They are expensive toys that are generally only ever seen on racetracks or deeply rural areas, and even then cars have less of a "cool" factor than horses do. Trying to bring one into the city is even harder than bringing a horse is since a lot of roads have been significantly narrowed by the addition of trees, tram tracks, and vendor stalls. Bike lanes and walking areas are surfaced in running track material that a car would ruin. Just about the only place in the city you could drive are the bus lanes out in the suburbs and the truck/van lanes out in the industrial areas, both of which would require you to have a permit to drive there.

in reply to @kda's post:

The Gang of Four live in Yingwan City, which has the best mass transit you can get in a crypto-fascist neo-liberal Euro-Pacific satellite state. But if you want to get somewhere off the grid, it's convenient to have a burner phone and a tuk-tuk on speed dial.

Lewi: mostly does rapid kangaroo-hopping

Juni: a mix of being driven around locally and commuting long-distance via transit pod; later in life they also use a cane

fluffy: Walks with a cane and sometimes knee brace, takes the bus, drives an electric car when not too anxious, prefers trains to planes but mostly just doesn't travel much, wishes for better transit
