i keep forgetting that NYC's director of intergovernmental affairs is named Tiffany Raspberry
she is often quoted in the press going to bat for Mayor Adams, and so reading stories that feature her is a perpetual whiplash of "haha, suddenly i am in a charming story for children about municipal governance where we are listening to perhaps an anthropomorphic mouse" to "oh no the adorable anthropomorphic mouse is defending cop bullshit :C"
