there are vrchat worlds that stand as monuments to forgotten MMOs of the 1990s, and to other failed social experiments such as PlayStation Home
i do not expect anyone to be making a fully immersive IRL tribute to the galactic starcruiser anytime soon (at least at higher quality than the glasgow wonka experience)
in many ways it can't compare
i cannot feel my paws against virtual cobblestone streets
(on the flip side, do you know how much of a pain some cobblestone streets can be with the cane)
i yearn for being able to hug friends across oceans with the full sense of touch and without any risk of clipping through
but it is also nice to see them being them, without any physical limitations, unrestricted
(even the world's best fursuit might have to compromise something about the character to be wearable)
