If you want me to disable my adblocker, how about you stop it with the billions of ads getting in the way of EVERYTHING
Sometimes I feel like the internet is a wasteland of ads, trackers and shitty apps forced down your throat, with a few little oasis's where you don't need an adblocker to simply exist there (cohost)
I hate downloading apps for shit because I can't block the ads that will inevitably be forced upon me. The ads on twitter are getting ridiculous, for example. I have YouTube revanced plus sponsor block on my phone because yt ads were getting way too invasive.
I stopped playing phone games because, you guessed it, ads! Even games that didn't have them 8-10 years are go are loaded with them now.
I don't want your shitty product or service, stop forcing it Infront of me.
The internet really is more comfortable with a desktop browser and a good adblocker
One of my worst experiences was using a music player app zhat was totally ad free, zhen one day it updated and was stuffed to zhe rafters wizh ads. Turns out some pos company had looked for a app wizh a high rating on zhe app store (because it had no ads), bought it out, and filled it wizh commercial slop. Zhe ratings on zhe app store subsequently cratered
Great system, glad zhat kind of zhing can happen
