🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?
Well, to get the most obvious one out of the way... fashion! It's both a hobby and a job for Pyrite. They love to sew and knit and browse fashion magazines and go pick up new bolts of cloth for making whatever new brightly colored outfit they've come up with! A Pyrite without fashion simply would not be Pyrite.
They also love to explore! Outside, inside, it doesn't matter! If a place seems interesting, you can bet Pyrite wants to root around there to find all the best aspects of it! They've found some of the coolest places in the city just by virtue of being nosy and disregarding any warning signs that would tell them otherwise. They've also found a lot of trouble this way, so sometimes Mercury gets to tell them "I told you so."
Finally, Pyrite really likes thrifting! You can find so many neat things in thrift stores, and the apartment they share with Mercury is absolutely littered with some of the absolutely odd things they've brought home after a good thrift. Well, littered is perhaps not the best term. Mercury makes sure to arrange things by color or style or "vibe" when the other categories fail him. So it's all neatly tucked away on shelves or wherever, but it's still a lot!
🎻 VIOLIN — does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?
One of the things it picked up in its downtime when it's not working at the tattoo shop is the bass guitar! Their skill exists somewhere in the area between intermediate and advanced because they don't dedicate quite enough of their time to it to boost their skill. Mostly because he doesn't have a band so there's no real need, but he does fill in sometimes if someone reaches out looking for a temporary member.
🔶 LARGE ORANGE DIAMOND — does your oc know cpr? do they have any other medical expertise?
You may be surprised, but Titan is actually quite adept at first aid! Maybe not CPR, per se (do inkfish even need that?), but when it comes to dressing wounds, he is someone you'd be very fortunate to have around... the fact that he might be the reason you have wounds to dress to begin with is besides the point.
It's a bit of a necessity for him, since he lacks the sensation of pain. He tends to get hurt without realizing it until he either sees the injury or has it pointed out to him so, rather than be stuck living a dreadfully boring life in a safety bubble, he took the initiative to learn to treat his own injuries as to the best of his abilities. And while he's not terribly motivated in a lot of spheres, his pride means he's not one to do anything in half measures. He's got plenty of scars, but he's never had any of the injuries he's treated get infected!
He tends to keep at least a basic first aid kit on his person at all times, just because he's an adrenaline junkie who gets involved in a lot of unnecessarily reckless things for fun... and if he patches you up, all he asks is that you fill him in on all the painful details his life is lacking. :)
