šŗ RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP ā does your oc know how to use any weapons?
Most of my OCs know how to handle a weapon just by virtue of the setting being Splatoon, but I'll answer for Holy, since I think he's the most interesting for this one!
A long, long time ago, before poison was ever even a thought in his mind, Holy was trained to be an assassin. His mentor favored guns and close quarters, so he grew up being put through his paces on handling handguns. His mentor was very particular, and a bit of a purist, besides, so the only other acceptable manner of take down was hand to hand combatāand that was only if something happened to your gun that prevented you from resolving your mission the right way. Blades only existed as part of clean up detail, and long range weapons were considered cowardly.
Now that he's older and no longer working under his mentor, he is free to pursue his preferred method of taking care of someoneāpoison. He's still a good shot and not terrible at physical combat (though he has to worry about getting overpowered in some scenarios), but he tends to shy away from guns since they serve as a reminder to him of things he'd rather keep buried in the past. Instead, if he absolutely must choose a weapon, he favors knives and other small, throwable weapons when poison won't work.
š· PIG FACE ā what is your oc's favorite animal?
Heli loves hummingbirds. He sees them a lot around the house in the late spring/summer thanks to all of the flowers Holy has that attracts them and it was love at first sight! Well... maybe not first sight. They sort of scared him for a while with the loud thrumming of their tiny little wings and their quick movements overhead, but once he got used to that it was really hard to resist the charm of those pretty little birds.
When the weather is nice, he likes to sit outside and watch them after he gets home from work.
