That's kind of a shame. I like the permanence of tumblr reblogs. It means you can't have reblogged something that gets turned into a troll later.
Maybe it's just the idea that sharing is meant to be mentally different from reblogging, but I feel like when you rehost it should be you sharing the original post, warts and all, to others because you liked or agreed with it.
