If you sit down and think about it, the internet is just an interpretation of the Feywild. Various domains, hosts whose seemingly arbitrary rules will have you ostracized, infantilized, or exiled for so-called violations with little to no warning.
Private gardens whose purpose is unknown to all but their creators with rules all their own.
To take it further, works of interactive fiction (video games) are naught but dimensions unto themselves, accessible only to those who've made themselves available for the experience, each individual save file a turning point from which the world itself might be reshaped.
Storage drives are bags of holding, containing anything from a photograph from one's childhood to literature to even tools of war.
It's just a matter of perspective.
Feel free to add, as other perspectives are welcome (so long as one maintains civility)
