between content and art
content is a product, intended to appeal to a wide audience and usually ends up sanitized to meet that goal, removing any semblance of a genuine statement to extract profit
art comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. it is unmarketable and unpalatable near anyone but the creator. it provokes thought in all but the thoughtless. it takes up space in your mind long after you've stopped interacting with it and can even reshape how you see the world. it is not a product until it becomes content.
