This past week I've been having a miserable time with goop filling up my head holes. If you've ever had the same thing then you know that it's like you're operating with the equivalent of oven mitts over your wits.

"Yeah, this face looks good."

"Oh shit!"

And...

"I'll just ink this line. No, this line. No. Not like that. No, eye-hand coordination. THIS line. The one right there. No. The. That one! JUST FOLLOW THE LEG! Dammit!"

The only thing keeping me sane is knowing that the comic will vanish into the void when I post it. Thus I know to treat making it as the pastime it is instead of the linchpin of all of my geeky hopes and dreams.

This took longer than expected due to working out bugs in the CSP emulation while I drew. Hopefully it'll remember that I fixed the pressure sensitivity and brush shapes now.

I have discovered that turning the Wacom tablet off or on while the emulator is running will confuse it and random things will stop working. Nothing bad enough that I couldn't access the file system and save my progress, but at least I nailed that problem down.

The Linux-native fonts are also working well enough though one I chose is missing a couple of punctuation marks and I may have to go with option two and redo the dialog to maintain consistency.

I'll probably stop with the "posting on the socials as soon as it's done" thing with this comic.

Both because of spoiling the comic before I can get it posted on webcomics platforms with wider audiences that need building up, and because I need to give my choices time to stew just in case some ingredients need a change.

I'm trying to vary up my faces a bit. I'm pretty confident all the characters are distinct enough as it is, but the little extra won't hurt.
