I super agree. There's something ethereal about incomplete art and it deserves to be remembered and enjoyed as it is.
This reminded me that when I was a kid, my favorite book series ever was Eragon. I started with the second book and ended with the second-to-last, because I couldn't find the others at the library. A story that never quite began and never quite ended.
