as twitter explodes and the internet enters a dark age (we don't know how long for) I think it's of major importance that we don't wind up losing one of the few things that worked on twitter: the melting pot
twitter was remarkable as probably the first and only place I've seen black & white united on the same site and it lead to things such as the civil rights protests of 2020 where black and white people marched together and it was such an amazing thing to see
I feel like elon musk was installed specifically with the goal of splitting the races and scattering us all to different websites; maybe followed by, again, sewing mistrust between us in order to split us up
it's clear that a lot of republicans and rich CEOs watched those protests in 2020 and got shit-scared at the fact their white kids were marching with the black kids
so where do we go from here? everyone's left twitter, and I feel like we need to make efforts to find eachother again
