actually finally coded proper planet gravity, rather than the fake planet gravity I was using before!
this has been a long-term holy grail I've been trying to program for ages. finally worked it out when I opened blitz in the middle of the night and just started coding based on a hunch- 3 hours later it was working
Update: now there’s hills and walls (which were impossible with the fake physics) and the ability to jump!
does all this without faking data about the player’s true position. this is so that the player’s position is global and untied to a planet so that I’ll be able to add the ability to jump off planets and onto other ones
