We could use your help. We've been fighting off terrorist attacks all over the place, due to widespread public support for a dying imperialist project that increasingly turns its violence inward - support that is helped, in small part, by shitass games like this! War is so cuddly uwu [shoots self with service weapon due to PTSD]

This is the kind of thing that would be very funny if anyone other than Ubisoft made it. I mean word for word, not "somebody else did this with their own IP." If some random indie dev made this exact thing down to the Rainbow Six branding, it would be extremely funny. Instead it's just weird and sad

not sure who the heck that would appeal to as the subject matter would scare off folks who like small Bean art styles and the art style would scare off the kind of folks that play Rainbow Six

sadly i think it does have an audience, gamers for whom the concepts of war and militarized policing and the post-9/11 death machinery are so deeply normal that any arbitrary aesthetic can be applied to them to purely amusing effect. that shit has fully bled into gaming culture and i guarantee there are feds who are also gamers / gamers who are friends with feds can see themselves in that image without a hint of irony or empathy for everyone the machinery brutalizes.
