anthology of the killer's comic-like approach has made it so I now think that the "visual novel" format is only the second best way to tell a dialogue heavy story in a game. in a visual novel for example, you will have to tediously click through every individual line of dialogue and it results in this feeling of detachment between each of these lines- in anthology the dialouge uses the whole screen to give you multiple lines at a time- this gives it a lot more flow, a lot more rhythm, and is easier to read
