I find it interesting that when AI art was new, people were terrified of how it could be undetectable- but now- you can just spot it a mile away: the AI artist has hallmarks and signatures that you can easily pick out the same way any other artist has.
what people don't realise when they think of outsourcing all creative work to OpenAI is: OpenAI is one artist. it has one style. when openAI made this thing, they made one artist, not several. and you can't live off the work of just one artist even if that artist is real.
