another "fuck windows" for changing the way notepad works overnight so that it automatically reloads to the most up-to-date version of a file while it's open (!!!!!!!!) thus risking me losing data because I have multiple copies of a file called "debug.txt" open, but I guess it doesn't matter what I want
this feature feels like a case of "dumbing down" the way it works until you realise that by adding this feature it is aknowledging that other programs can write to notepad files, which only advanced users are going to be doing anyway- who is this for?
