"i have done a couple bad things"
i'm having fun learning typescript. roast me
enjoy getting to the part where you are debugging a problem that typescript is supposed to solve but inexplicably doesn't
i already had to do this without knowing typescript. therefore i am prepared for anything
when i said "roast me" i did not expect a majority of commenters to respond in this way!
but, i'm writing typescript now, and it's definitely enabling me to do things at a larger scope where in the past i would have gotten hopelessly tangled and frustrated in my own sloppy JS by now. it's still fun! huh!
Yeah!!! It makes JS so much more sane for me! And provides a great paradigm for thinking about and designing interfaces for folks to interact with. Type safety makes all the difference imo
