as a very boring computer person, i do find the vision of "spatial window manager" somewhat compelling. not $3500 compelling, but the cost of a nice desktop monitor compelling, because the appeal of Computer Goggles to me personally is to do things i'm already doing on computer on something way more flexible than a screen. shrug

yep this is exactly it for me. if work pays for it or it costs like $800 I’ll consider it because I like the idea of having The Ultimate Window Manager
I wasn't going to watch the thing but if "spatial window manager" is in the same sense as mac classic and bumptop I'm very curious now
more "floating windows in space" than bumptop... probably not worth watching the thing for, but you can get the gist of it from the marketing website
I was thinking mostly in the sense that bumptop was like the extreme of "you can arrange things on your computer desktop like you can on your physical desktop" that classic mac did so it would be interesting to see a new apple take on it, even if it's in a totally different context. I miss organizing my desktop by sorting icons into little piles in different areas of the screen and having a ton of little windows everywhere
