this is the charging cable i got with my phone in 2018. it's been falling apart for years and frankly i'm surprised it still works. but what i'm really wondering here is: why is it turning this color, why is it happening more at the ends than near the middle? is it just interactions with whatever's been on my hands in the last 5 years?
