Soap is fine on cast iron!! If it's well seasoned the oil has polymerized so the soap won't lift it, and if it's only OK seasoned you just dry it on the stove and brush a thiiin layer of oil over it with a paper towel. I will die on the hill of "use soap on your cast iron"
