as someone who has seen Synecdoche, New York (2008) but not 8½ (1963) this has piqued my interest
imo Synecdoche is probably more accessible to most audiences (.....lol. lmao), but 8½ was way more interesting and nourishing, through and through. (not to dunk on Synecdoche! just my feelings!!!)
